Importing Video and Audio Tracks
The Multi-Track Editor allows you to import multiple video and audio files into a single project. Each file you import is placed on its own dedicated track.
Adding Files
There are two ways to import files into the Multi-Track Editor:
- Using the import button — Click the "Add Video / Audio Files As Tracks" button and select one or more files from the file browser.
- Drag and drop — Drag files from your file manager and drop them directly into the Multi-Track Editor window.
Note: When you select multiple files at once, they are added as tracks in alphabetical order based on their file names. If you need your tracks arranged in a specific order, consider renaming your files accordingly before importing.
How Tracks Are Named and Arranged
Each track is automatically assigned a label consisting of a prefix and a track number:
- Video tracks use the prefix
V(e.g., V1, V2) - Audio tracks use the prefix
A(e.g., A2, A3)
The track number reflects the order in which the file was imported, and tracks are stacked in the editor from top to bottom in that same order.
Example: If you import one video file followed by two audio files, the editor will create three tracks labeled V1, A2, and A3. V1 (the video) will appear at the top of the editor, with A2 directly below it, and A3 below A2.
